Joseph Pfiffner, Owner and Director of JP Painting Sydney When I first left school, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do—I just kind of fell into painting. It started as a job, then turned into an apprenticeship, and before I knew it, painting had become my trade and my first real passion. But I’ve always been curious and driven to grow, so I decided to explore other paths. I worked in sales and project management, studied counselling, and even became a meditation teacher. I was searching for something—purpose, maybe—and I thought I needed to try different careers to find it. Funny thing is, after all that exploring, I found myself being pulled back to painting. It’s what I know, what I’m good at, and more importantly, what I love. That’s when I realised painting wasn’t just a job—it was my purpose. And that’s why I created JP Painting Sydney. JP Painting is more than a business to me. It’s a reflection of everything I’ve learned—attention to detail from my trade, clear communication from my studies, mindfulness from meditation, and a deep commitment to quality and service. I take pride in creating beautiful spaces for people to live and work in, and I bring my full self to every project.
